NNW 8-14mph. It was a bit far off but still nicely soarable and launchable from the main take-off. Only got below takeoff twice and got up again. Nice seeing everywhere in the snow and max height only a couple of hundred feet. The moment I top landed the first time a red kite popped up and soared about, so I flew again but he disappeared smartish.
Ground handling in the snow is interesting, nearly went kite surfing a few times and it was great fun. DaveT
